LATEST NEWS: Ebola Epidemic Outbreak in Sierra Leone - Our Awareness Campaign in Partnership with CARITAS Freetown
Unlimited Partnership e.V. is a registered non-profit charity organization established by international postgraduate students and young professionals which is dedicated to support development aid in third world countries.
In order to achieve a long-term improvement of the economic situation and the living standards of the most affected people in these regions, we believe that aid must be sustainable. Our concept is therefore based on the idea of “help for self-help” according to the well-known quote from Lao Tzu “Give a man a fish; you have fed him for today. Teach a man to fish; and you have fed him for a lifetime”.
We believe that education and economic development are closely interlinked. The connection is two-fold: The real economic growth can be triggered only on condition that there is already an appropriately educated labor force, but people cannot be adequately educated where the economic base is extremely weak.
Therefore, the focus of our help will be on these two areas. The idea that education and economic development cannot be tackled separately is a focal point of our first project in Sierra Leone, one of the poorest countries in the world. There, we want to help women by offering them financial loans, business training and guidance in order to help them start their own self-sufficient businesses.
